Another creative, hilarious and sometimes strange Trannyshack show celebrated the music of Bjork, with lipsynched (and in one lovely act, live) performances, Friday, August 27 at DNA Lounge, by Cousin Wonderlette, Trixxie Carr, Miss Rahni, Elijah Minnelli, Jupiter, Fruitbomb, Faux Pas, Raya Light, Ambrosia Salad, Suppositori Spelling and other talented folks (Exhibit Q’s hot act was shot only on video, and will be uploaded later).

Heklina (who, like Bjork, hails from Iceland) introduced the acts, handed out Bjork music prizes in the Bjork look-alike contest, including a pair who smashed a small watermelon onstage, much to the consternation of the stalwart stage hands!.

Don’t miss the next Trannyshack as their Lady Gaga Night should bring out the little monsters and paparazzi, with special guest Sherry Vine; two different shows at 11:30pm and 1:30am, DJ Adrian of Bootie, and a heck of a lot of fun. Friday, September 24. $15. 375 11th St. www.trannyshack.com
