If candy hearts, chocolates and bouquets of flowers aren’t your style, consider some unusual February events focusing on romance for singles, couples and, well, whatever combination shoots that arrow through your heart.
The marriage of booze and books goes back to the 1950s at Beat-era readings at North Beach bars like The Black Cat, The Cellar, and Vesuvio. That tradition is alive and well today with Litquake, Writers With Drinks, and other events.
