The festive monthly club night went hip hop with a Nicki Minaj tribute night. Drag shows and fun included Trannyshack guru Heklina as Hicki Minaj (and DJing upstairs), host Joshua J, numbers by Mercedez Munro, Charisma Glitterati, Mahlae, Manicure Versace, Robert Jeffrey, Kallisto, and on the main floor, DJ Josh Sparber from New York.
Country-western dancing, and lots of it, thrive right here in San Francisco. the annual Sundance Stompede is just days away. Running from October 4 to 17 and now in its tenth year, the Stompede is a four-day gala of country-western dances, exhibitions by troupes from all over the country, lessons, and fundraising for charities.
These are just a few of the fabulous contestants at the June 16 Booty Call Lady Gaga costume Contest held at Q Bar. Along with cute gogo boys, including a pair of Kermit the Frog guys, the event was, as usual, packed with cuties and dancing fans (photos: Jim Provenzano).
