This year’s Pride events enjoy the fourth incarnation of the multi-event Eden in the Bay production team. With pop stars, ‘celesbian’ chefs and dance parties each day and night of the weekend, women’s events in San Francisco have taken a step up.
The Dinah, the annual huge party in Palm Springs, is set to give women what they have come to expect, with amazing shows by emerging artists, the best female comedians, celesbians, and its signature pool parties and white party.
Maud’s opened in the “twilight of the closeted days” before women were allowed to tend bar, unless they were the owners. Maud’s opened in 1966 and was home to many queer women. Maudie’s, the bar regulars called themselves, thrived and so did the bar, until 1989.

DJ Said offers a soulful African house mix, DJs Carnitas, Brown Amy, Hard French style Tal M Klein, Kimmy LeFunk and Mr. Fabulous, plus hosts Steve Fabus, Sergio and Stanley Frank.
